First round of voting is up. Stuff was broken all over the place.  Good times.

Did you know who Julius Peppers was?  Freak of Nature.

Virgin Mobile on deck.

  1. i'm just going to say right now that i don't think we should be able to see how many people have already voted for each one.

  2. This comment box is not so small that you could not include a why.

  3. fine then. I don't want other players' votes to influence my own. i'm sure we all think that we can make decisions for ourselves and are independent thinkers. but it just doesn't always work like that. we are influenced even when we think we are not.

    Also, where's my sweet favicon?

bug report: weird behavior: when i am logged into a google account in a different tab in the same browser, logging out of before/after logs me out in the other tab. however, logging out in the other tab does not log me out of before/after.

  4. another complaint: i can't embarrass people by using URL manipulation to change my entry that people would have already voted on to something racist.

  5. I'm not deeply attached to the visibility of vote counts, but I think for now I will leave them. Since a lot of people aren't even voting right now, it kindof doesn't matter. It's easy enough to reverse this decision in the future.

Thanks for the bug report. Actual interaction of log in / log out with real user accounts is something that can only be tested now that's it hosted - couldn't I don't think it is something I can actually fix unfortunately - it appears to be a limitation of App Engine. I defer to Nick Johnson's response on Stack Overflow. He's an App Engine developer so it's pretty much straight from the horses mouth. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2015507/problems-with-userservice-on-google-app-engine
